'Mommy, Please Talk to Me' was written by First Lady Patrice Ellis as a result of a desire to see teenage girls grow up with the appropriate and correct information as it relates to basic grooming, manners and etiquette. It was revised and expanded from the book formerly entitled 'Personal Grooming Tips for Teenage Girls'.
This book will serve as a source of encouragement for parents (particularly mothers) to know that you are not alone in the struggle of child-rearing, especially during those challenging and transitional years from adolescence to adulthood. 'Mommy, Please Talk to Me', is excellent as a conversation-starter for mothers and their teenage daughters about 'hard-to-discuss' topics such as menstruation, bodily changes, personal hygiene, and dating. The author also shares pertinent information on friendships, etiquette for dining, hair care, make-up, clothing and much more.
