Pastor Oscar Rolle was born in the quiet settlement of West End, Grand Bahama, a place known for its warmth and hospitality. It was here that he gave his life to the LORD at a very young age while attending a revival service at St. Peter’s Baptist Church in West End. It was also at this church through the mentorship of Pastor Arthur Young, he witnessed the true nature of Christianity demonstrate by a man who not only preached the gospel but lived it. Pastor Young’s love, kindness, generosity, patience and capacity to forgive his offenders left an indelible mark on this young man’s life that inspired him to go all in for God.
When his family moved from West End to the city of Freeport, he became a part of the St. John Native Baptist Church. A people enthusiastic about their God and another Pastor with a love God and love people mentality. Here his love of worshiping God grew, and he intensified his pursuit for the things of God.
In the early stages of life, he had a love for young people and knew that he wanted to work with them closely. Being able to pour into the lives of young people is blessing and something he finds fulfilling. He currently serves as the Pastor of Children, Youths, Millennials and GenZs at Mount Tabor Church.
